Reporting to the Production Manager/Technical Director, responsibilities will include, but not
be limited to:
 Construct the scenery for all Mainstage productions
 Be responsible for the interpretation of blueprints, and the fabrication of scenery for all
theatre productions, in conjunction with the PM/TD as necessary.
 Maintain shop equipment and assist the Head of Props with any maintenance that may
be needed in the prop shop.
 Supervise scenic assistant and any extra volunteers working in the scene shop
 Paint base coating of scenery, and other painting as needed
 Work when necessary on other carpentry related projects on the theatre premises
 Ensure a safe and efficient workshop environment in consultation with PM/TD
COMPENSATION: $700-$750/week, commensurate with experience
